hundred dollar bills
Today I stopped by Casey's Alltel shop in Easley to bring him a phone he needed and some lunch. Amazingly, we had a minute or two with no customers in the store, just as I was about to leave. He handed me the extra money from the drawer to go make a deposit, but the pants I was wearing didn't have pockets, and I hadn't brought a bag in with me, so as any normal husband would do, he jokingly stuffed the money down the front of my shirt. As I was about to leave, several sets of customers came in and I started helping an older couple with their phones while Casey helped someone else. Caleb was there with us and we talked about him for a minute or two as I added money to their prepaid accounts. I had been working with them for several minutes when I somehow caught a glimpse of several hundred dollar bills sticking out of the top of my v-neck shirt. I about died of embarassment. As I pretended to be working with their account, I walked to the other side of the store and took the money out... then went back and finished helping them. They never said a word about it, but I can only imagine what this sweet old couple must have thought of me!
